Your privacy in Rihla, in plain language.

What we collect
The details you enter yourself: your name, email address, phone number (if you add one), date of birth, gender, height, weight and preferred units. And what you do in the app: workouts and challenges you complete, your streak, your program enrolments, journal entries, progress photos, saved recipes, your saved list, and anything you post in the community.

How we use it
To run the app: to show your plan, your progress and your streak, to keep your settings consistent across devices, and to unlock subscriber-only content. We do not sell your personal information.

Where it is stored
Your account and content are stored with Google Firebase (authentication and Cloud Firestore). Videos and images are served from Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Stripe and by the Apple App Store or Google Play - we never see or store your card details.

Community content
Posts and comments you publish are visible to other members alongside the name on your profile. Journal entries and progress photos stay private to you unless you post them yourself.

Analytics
We use only the basic, aggregated usage reporting that comes with Firebase. The app does not currently offer an in-app analytics opt-out; if you would rather we collected nothing, do not create an account, or delete the one you have.

Your choices
You can change your name, date of birth, gender, height, weight and units at any time from Profile > Edit Profile. You can delete your account from Profile > Manage Account. There is no self-service data export in the app today - contact us from Profile > Help & Support and we will send you a copy of your data.

Deleting your account
When you confirm deletion we remove your profile, your settings and preferences, your saved recipes and saved list, your training history (workouts, sessions and streaks), your program enrolments, your reviews, and the posts and comments you wrote. Your sign-in account is deleted in the same step. Comments other members left on your posts are theirs, not ours to delete on your behalf, and routine encrypted backups age out on our providers' own schedules. Deletion is permanent - an account cannot be restored.

Children
Rihla is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Website sign-ups
If you sign up on rihlapp.fit before launch, we store the name, email address, country and goal you enter, your language, and your browser’s user agent. We use them only to tell you about the launch. They are stored with Cloudflare. To have your sign-up removed, email us.
